Welcome to the WSBLN The Washington State Business Leadership Network, WSBLN, is a network of employers and service providers who educate and support businesses to recruit, hire, retain, promote and improve customer service for people with disabilities. Fact: According to the U. S. Census Bureau, about 49.7 million (about 1 in 5) Americans have a disability, which includes people of all demographics: age, race, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, gender and financial status. Fact: In September 2010, the percentage of people with disabilities in the labor force was 21.6. Which means, 78.4 percent of the individuals with disabilities are not in the work force. By comparison, the percentage of persons with no disability in the labor force is 69.9.
