The Washington State Business Leadership Network, WSBLN, is a network of employers and service providers who educate and support businesses to recruit, hire, retain, promote and improve customer service for people with disabilities.

Fact: According to the U. S. Census Bureau, about 49.7 million (about 1 in 5) Americans have a disability, which includes people of all demographics: age, race, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, gender and financial status.

Fact: In September 2010, the percentage of people with disabilities in the labor force was 21.6.  Which means, 78.4 percent of the individuals with disabilities are not in the work force.
